Dear Juno, It must of been really difficult thinking about the different options you had when you were pregnant. Like abortion, adoption or keeping the baby. But you did mess up on having unprotected sex. Some might say that you were too young when you had sex and that you are not prepare for it because of your age. But you do have to know the consequences of unprotected sex and the diseases you could encounter if you do have sex. Clearly you were absent on the day when your class learned about sex education. What you did was irresponsible and you did deserve it but you could of prevented it by having protection.
What you did once you found out that you were pregnant was normal for a teenager because that's what they think of first because they are scared and don't know what to do. The best thing you did was telling your parents you were pregnant because having their support is what every teenager needs when they are pregnant. That's why the first thing someone should do when they become pregnant is to tell their parents no matter what the circumstances are. Once you figured out that getting an abortion was not the right choice for you, it was nice of you that you were looking for a couple who couldn't have babies but were desperately to have one and the only way they could start a family is by someone like you giving up their baby and giving it to them, once you figured out that getting an abortion was not the right choice for you.
You were not just thinking about your future but your baby's future as well who is going to be brought to this world and maybe not to the right hands. You are young and what you did is a difficult thing to do because your connecting to your baby in those 12 months. The way you took your situation you were on was very mature but sometimes you took some stuff as a joke but you knew what you were talking about. I understand the decision when someone like you wants to get an abortion or an adaption. Now you know what you did was irresponsible and I respect what you did with your baby and I hope people like you don't take sex as a joke and be more cautious when having these type of things.
